ADHD shares overlapping symptoms with other conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, executive dysfunction, and sleep disorders, which can sometimes mimic or contribute to attention-related struggles. If, after a comprehensive evaluation, it is determined that ADHD is not the primary cause of your symptoms, we will:
✔ Provide a clear diagnosis and help you understand what is contributing to your challenges.
✔ Offer alternative treatment options, including therapy referrals, lifestyle modifications, and medication management for other conditions, if needed.
✔ Develop a personalized care plan to address the root cause of your symptoms and help you function at your best.
Regardless of the diagnosis, our goal is to ensure that you receive effective, evidence-based treatment tailored to your specific needs.
If you receive a diagnosis of ADHD, we will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that may include:
✔ Behavioral strategies & lifestyle modifications – Practical tools to improve focus, productivity, and emotional regulation.
✔ Medication options – Stimulant and non-stimulant medications, based on your individual symptoms and medical history.
✔ Referrals for therapy & coaching – Additional support for executive function, organization, and self-management skills.

If ADHD treatment includes stimulant medication, a urine drug screen (UDS) is required prior to starting treatment. Stimulants are controlled substances, and regulations require additional safety measures before prescribing. This process ensures:
✔ Safe prescribing practices and prevention of misuse.
✔ No interactions with other substances or medications.
✔ Compliance with DEA and state regulations for controlled substances.
📌 Due to DEA regulations, all patients starting stimulant medication must complete an in-person visit before a stimulant prescription can be issued. This in-person requirement is necessary for compliance and ensures proper monitoring of treatment.
📌 Additional medical tests may be required based on your health history, including:
✔ Cardiac evaluation for individuals with heart conditions or family history of cardiac concerns.
✔ Bloodwork or other medical assessments to rule out underlying factors that could contribute to ADHD-like symptoms.
We are committed to providing thorough, responsible, and ethical care, ensuring your safety and well-being throughout the treatment process.
